It’s not a secret that the youth of YSSF is always looking for new non-formal educational areas, which is used for the development of the team members. This time YSSF team visited the American Councils of Armenia, EducationUSA. We got acquainted with their office weeks ago during the EducationUSA fair which is organized 2 times in a year, in October and in May. Due to the cooperation with the EducationUSA adviser Shushanna Abovyan we managed to visit American Councils of Armenia.
Shuhanna Abovyan gave a very interesting and inspiring speech, moreover, during her speech she introduced their mission and all the programs of the American Councils. American Councils office in Armenia is one of the 400 offices across the world. It was founded in 1992 by the Department of State of the USA. EducationUSA Armenia provides students with accurate, comprehensive and current information about how to apply to U.S. colleges and universities. All services, including lending library of test preparation and books, individual consultations, workshops, sample testing, group advising, lectures are free of charge.
Shushanna shared her own experiences and said that their office is unique with the free outflow of information, which is encouraged instead of being punished. She answered to all the questions of the members of YSSF stating that she is ready to include our members to their voluntary works and other possible activities. At the end of the meeting Shushanna Abovyan and YSSF director Gevorg Manukyan agreed that their work is aimed to help our youngsters to develop and success.

Այն, որ «ՊԳԵԴ-YSSF» Հ/Կ-ի երիտասարդները մշտապես զբաղված են ոչ ֆորմալ կրթական հարթակների որոնմամբ և դրանք ի նպաստ իրենց ու թիմակիցների զարգացման օգտագործմանը ներդնելուն, վաղուց արդեն գաղտնիք չէ ոչ միայն Հայաստանում, այլև Եվրոպական մի շարք երկրներում, իսկ անցած տարվանից նաև Ամերիկա մայրցամաքում:
