Meeting with young Europeans in Moldova
A few days ago in the capital of Moldova, Kishinev, a conference was held dedicated to global education.The meeting was organized by the Secretary General of UN and Ministry of Sports and Youth affairs of Moldova.The aim of the conference was to unit the active youth of Eastern Europe and give them new opportunities. In the Armenian delegation was our delegate Anna Martirosyan who represented YSSF. During the conference young members discussed “The 2030 Agenda” accepted in September, 2015, in UN by the leaders of different countries, which includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and in case of implementing it till 2030, the World will become better.

Among the conference participants were Mrs. Min Jeong Kim (The head of secretariat of the Global Education), representatives of Ministry of Sports and Youth affairs of Moldova, Youth from 35 countries of Eastern part of Europe from Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Russia, Montenegro, Romania, Lithuania, Poland and Armenia.
During the conference groups were formed, which represented their innovative ideas for implementing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of “2030 Agenda”. The plenipotentiary of YSSF represented the projects to the European partners implemented by the youth of our school, the results of the works and the mission of our school in the field of education and non-formal education.

After coming back to Yerevan Anna expressed a great desire to share her knowledge and ideas with the members of YSSF, as well as to inform her friends about the global education and 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the “2030 Agenda” , which will give a great chance to members of our company to continue their activity in new international platforms.

A few days ago a group of YSSF members and the director-founder of the organization got an opportunity to participate in a forum called ‘’Power to create’’ organized by Leadership School, which was dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
Tigran Jrbashyan (Partner, head of Management Advisory Services, ''Ameria'' group of companies) emphasized the development of Armenia and realization of the human potential. According to him, we have the power to continue when we have something to give the society and the world, when the person stops giving any result, he stops continuing, he surrenders.

Karen Andreasyan (Ex- Human Rights defender of RA) drew attention to the formation of a national, united future vision and said that our visions shouldn't be directed or managed by others.
Nikolay Grigoryan (Deputy director, rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of RA, Mayor) underlined the readiness to confront future challenges. Dr. Thomas Samuelyan (The Dean of the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in the American University of Armenia) spoke about the power of a small, but dedicated group to implement changes. According to the dean of AUA, each of us should leave behind a better world than he had received….

Dr. Suresh Babu was the exceptional guest of the meeting, who advised never stop dreaming. According to the diplomat, dreams inspire us and motivate into action, and when you begin to look for ways of fulfilling your dreams, you are on the way of happiness and creating.
Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan (Primate of Tavush diocese of the Armenian Apostolic church made the forum more meaningful by his presence and interesting examples, who shared his deep analysis. According to the clergy, many of us became independent, but we haven't get rid of the stamp of bondage, slavishness, which we have inherited and still wear it. He advised the youth to reinvent everything. His thoughts were enough correct about unjust and immoral people, who don’t afraid and feel ashamed of neither God, nor people, according Jesus Christ.

Youth Summit on Regional Conflicts
On April 23-24 ,2016,the representatives of the " Foundation of development of Georgia" Georgi Taktakishvili and Dato Narushvili arrived in Armenia after visiting Ukraine and Azerbaijan.The expert group ,arrived from Georgia, had the opportunity of having a couple of meetings with the youth wings of various political parties and the representatives of active youth public organizations of Armenia.

During the meetings our partners informed us about their initiative of organizing a youth conference in Tbiliisi in May on regional security and conflicts issues with the participation of representatives from Russia,Azerbaijan,Ukraine,Georgia,Armenia and Turkey.After the meeting with Armenian youth our Georgian partners traveled to Turkey with the similar mission.

Two members from political parties and another two from youth public organizations are to participate in the expected Tbilisi regional conference. The coordination of work of Armenian side was entrusted to Garnik Davtyan,the head of the department of international cooperation and contacts establishment of YSSF,who,we are completely certain, will take this honourable mission with utmost responsibility.

"The Innovation and business national Center" SNCO launched " The creative potential; Innovational creations and development in the field of business" seminar - workshop. This is the start of a series workshops and trainings in various thematic areas organized in the frame of "Young innovators school" program.

The seminar- workshop aims to develop the participants' business skills, abilities, knowledge, pointing out the role and importance of creative and innovative approaches, encourages to use creative thinking, for their own business and teaches them business planning, modeling and promoting of own business. PGED- YSSF students at the head of our organization secretary Elen Khachatryan, will participate in this special trainings for 2-3 months to acquire creative thinking, business skills in order to become a successful businessman and achieve success.

This is a unique opportunity for PGED- YSSF students, to be a step upper among those who's going achive their goals and be succeed.It should be noted that, indeed, our organization tries to give our youth all possibilites to come out of themselves, be developed, succeed and good leaders.

Spring is a season when YSSF NGO works hard

In YSSF we almost don't have weekends.We make efforts to look for new friends, creative groups and cooperations with youth unions.The fact that we always reveale such individuals, organizations, which act among us, in our community is encouraging, but not everybody knows about them.

Few days ago our searches of partners reached to a success. The chairman of YSSF NGO Gevorg Manukyan had a meeting with United Youth Union NGO chairman Grigor Janikyan.During some discussions we made an agreement of cooperation and then the two partners signed the agreement. Few days later YSSF was invited to participate and exchange our knowledge in the first Youth Marketing conference, organized by United Youth Union NGO.

Our secretary Elen Khachatryan and the head of the department of. 'International Relations and Coordination' Garnik Davtyan took part in the conference and honorably represented our NGO among others. Our activities and team work principles were highly appreciated and many young people were interested in them . YSSF NGO is sure, that there are all backgrounds for youth's activities, self-expression, there are platforms where the youth can develop their qualitative, private and professional knowledge, and they only need to work hard and be daring.That's what our school's doing .

NATO-YSSF Partnership in action

YSSF members always seek new ways for enriching their knowledge, they persistently knock at nearly any closed door, which they believe will provide with barns of knowledge and experience. Some days before there was one of these attempts, which turned to be a real success. YSSF visited NATO Information Center in Armenia. Katya Poghosyan-the coordinator of the center, accepted our students with pleasure and presented the history of NATO`s formation and development in a very interesting and interactive way, she explained the aims and probable ways of future relationship development in Armenian-NATO co-operation.

YSSF youngsters had an opportunity to get the answers to their questions, as well as got a chance to make use of the center library for gaining much knowledge on NATO`s functioning, and for studying Armenian-NATO relations deeply.YSSF members expressed their willingness to voluntarily participate in the events organized by the center, particularly in organizing the program “NATO Week in Armenia”, during which will have opportunities to acquire a great number of new skills and knowledge.

Katya Poghosyan also shared with her own experience by encouraging the youngsters to be full of initiative and always strive for more. At the end of the meeting, Garnik Davtyan-YSSF cooperator in the International Cooperation Department, represented his practical suggestion to organize NATO youth summit model in Armenia, the experience of which he has gained over several years in different foreign countries. The offer was gladly accepted and soon its written version will be sent to Brussels for the discussion in corresponding departments of NATO. This meeting was another step to a new co-operation, prospective and motivations, which YSSF members seek together and surely share with others.

Молодые представители МШГД не упускают возможности углубить знания в различных сферах. Несколько дней назад мы посетили Информационный центр НАТО в Армении, и координатор информационного центра Катя Погосян представила и рассказала историю о деятельности НАТО, о сотрудничестве Армении с НАТО и развитии этих отношений. У нас была возможность получить ответы на наши вопросы, а также пользоваться библиотекой для получения более подробной информации о деятельности НАТО. Мы надеемся, что в будущем появятся возможности для участия в мероприятиях, организованных центром, которые помогут приобрести знания и развивать много новых навыков. Эта встреча стала еще одним шагом на пути нового сотрудничества.

On February 27, 2016 YSSF organization had the pleasure of meeting and greeting guests from the United States.

Visitors included Helen Brehany and Alison Steferark: bachelor students from Stonehill College, Massachusetts. They were accompanied by Asya Hayrapetyan, the representative of Eurasia International University, who had her own active and valuable contribution in organizing the event.

Our guests are visiting Armenia to study Armenian-Turkish and Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, to understand the essence and types of manifestation, their transformation, analyze the opinion and viewpoint of our youth, non-governmental organizations and the society and to better understand how/what Armenians see as a possible solution to this ongoing conflict.

The meeting was held in English. YSSF members had the opportunity to express their viewpoint in English. The meeting was very friendly and neither side felt that they were communicating in different languages with the people who just some hours before seemed foreign for each other. It was very clear that the knowledge and opinions that our guests had were generally based on the stream of either official or partial information. During discussion, YSSF members were able to pain a more realistic picture of the issues at hand.

At the end of the meeting YSSF youth presented them "Anmoruk-Forget Me Nots" and Gevorg Manukyan arranged a collaborative visit to Cicernakaberd (April 24th Memorial). Our guests will be in Armenia until July and we will have some opportunities to meet with them again and organize a few more events. We understand the true meaning of unity and our partners share the same mentality.

On February 3, 2016 YSSF delegation, particularly Elen Khachatryan met with the delegation of the Northern University Student Council. Northern University Student Council President Minasyan and Student association Vice President Tatevik Apresyan and Seroja Makaryan presented current dispositions, programs and future agendas. They noted that by following YSSF activities, their collaboration will benefit our organization and the youth.

YSSF member delegation of International Relations and Cooperation of the Coordination Group G. Davtyan and his assistant A. Roubenyan noted that YSSF is willing to share their knowledge and skills with the Student Council members, conduct joint seminars and workshops. During the meeting, Elen Khachatryan signed a joint memorandum of cooperation between the two organizations. YSSF is hopeful that such cooperation and collaboration will only be a stepping stone of broadening horizons in the future. Congratulations to the members of our organization, our partners and supporters. This is another successful acquisition!

National Olympic Committee of Armenia marked its 25th Anniversary in 2015. More than hundred senior delegates from almost all continents attended the event. The youth of YSSF,most of whom had a great experience due to their voluntary work at PanArmenian games, were first who expressed willingness to volunteer in NOCA( National Olympic Committee of Armenia).YSSF was again very successful, and our youth were awarded with certificates by the Chairman and the Secretary General of NOCA. Particularly our translators of Arabic languages were brilliant and all the delegates were very impressed by their level of knowledge.

Due to our youth's professional skills, YSSF was able to gain the trust of NOCA. As of 2015, YSSF members continue to help and encourage both NOCA and other sport federations of Armenia. Just a few days ago, YSSF had the pleasure of meeting with NOCA Secretary General Hrachya Rustomyan. He expressed his desire to collaborate with YSSF. On January 30, 2016, YSSF team and Mr.Rustomyan summarized 6 months of collaborative outcome, joint projects, future Olympic opportunities and related youth programs. Mr. Rostomyan stated, that the duty of NOCA is not only to organize sportive events but also to preach healthy lifestyle, to keep our youth away from harmful phenomenon and propagation of patriotism. He expressed his desire to collaborate with YSSF and is willing to let our youth organize and implement some projects. At the end of the meeting Mr. Rostomyan announced his surprising decision that the members of the YSSF who volunteered in NOCA will have more advantages to work because voluntary work is a very important factor. Mr Rostomyan also suggested several positions(staff) and asked the YSSF Chairman Mr. Manukyan to introduce references. It s important to state that our victories are continuous because we reach the art of being the best together.

В 2015 г. на международном и национальном уровнях свое 25-летие отметил Национальный олимпийский комитет Армении. По этому поводу в Армению прибыли более ста высокопоставленных делегатов почти со всех континентов мира. Многие представители МШГД, которые имели большой опыт волонтерской работы в Панармянских спортивных играх, стали одними из первых добровольцев в поддержку осуществления организационных работ различных подразделений Национального олимпийского комитета. Все они блестяще выполнили свои обязанности и были награждены благодарственными письмами от президента и Генерального секретаря Национального олимпийского комитета. Особенно запомнилась работа наших востоковедов, знаниями языков которых были очарованы делегаты всех араб язычных стран.

Начиная с 2015 и по сей день члены МШГД продолжают активно участвовать в различных спортивных мероприятиях и поддерживать своей волонтерской деятельностью как НОК Армении, так и различные национальные спортивные федерации и регистрируют отличные результаты. Несколько дней назад секретарь Национального олимпийского комитета Грачья Ростомян выразил желание встретиться со старшим руководящим составом и руководителями подразделений нашей организации. Во время встречи, состоявшейся 30 января 2016 года, были подведены итоги программ шестимесячного сотрудничества, и была обсуждена дальнейшая возможность реализации молодежных программ вместе с НОК Армении. В подтверждение своего отношения Грачья Ростомян в конце встречи объявил о своем неожиданном решении: все члены-волонтеры МШГД, желающие в дальнейшем поступить на работу в свободных вакансиях НОК Армении, в случае обеспечения равных условий с другими кандидатами, будут иметь преимущество, благодаря их волонтёрской и общественной деятельности.

В качестве первого шага генеральный секретарь Национального Олимпийского комитета предоставил директору-основателю МШГД-YSSF Геворг Манукяну несколько вакансий, для которых поручил представить качественные рекомендации. 2015թ-ին պետական ու միջազգային բարձր մակարդակով նշվեց Հայաստանի Ազգային Օլիմպիական Կոմիտեի հիմնադրման 25 ամյակը: Այդ իրադարձության կապակցությամբ Հայաստան էին ժամանել հարյուրից ավելի բարձրաստիճան պատվիրակներ՝ աշխարհի գրեթե բոլոր մայրցամաքներից: Մոտ մեկ շաբաթ տևողությամբ միջոցառումների իրականացումը ՀԱՕԿ-ի համար որքան պատվաբեր էր, նույնքան պատասխանատու:
